Cycling Safaris- Tanzania Cycle SafariDay 5 A morning drive up to the gates of Ngorongoro crater. You have the morning to enjoy the wildlife viewing inside the crater. Late afternoon you ascend and camp on the ridge of the crater. Camping B, L, D Day 6 Today you will head off down the short grass plains of the Serengeti following the dirt road along the border of the Ngorongoro crater concession and the Serengeti National park. After lunch you should be out of the Park areas and onto your bikes as you cycle on the dirt road which heads towards Loliondo Township. Camping B, L, D Cycling distance 50kms Day 7 An early morning sees you back on your bikes as you follow the dirt road heading south down towards Lake Natron. Potentially a long hot cycle but the view over the lake and the descent is worth the work. Camp is set up at Lake Natron campsite. Camping B, L, D Cycling distance 80kms Day 8 Return to Arusha. Overnight at the Kia Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis Day 9 Transfer to the airport for your departure flight back to Johannesburg on Air Tanzania. Enquire for prices |
